With Stacia and Josh, I could see how much their family and friends cared about them and their wedding. Their bridal party was so involved with the music portion of their wedding. They had performances all throughout the night. One of the groomsman, who is a recording artist, even sang a song to them during the ceremony. He also sang their first dance song, which was a total surprise for all of the guests! One of their good friends played acoustic guitar as the guests arrived. Stacia's younger cousin even sang, I'll be there by Michael Jackson, during the reception. My favorite moment was the end of the night when the groomsman, who is a recording artist, performed his song “Good Feeling” LIVE and it was a surprise to him that I even had that song! They had 5 different live (musical) performances from their family and friends throughout their wedding & overall they just wanted everyone to be able to dance the entire night. Together they made the perfect pair and their wedding was beyond amazing!
Stacia and her dad did a traditional first dance to: My little girl by Tim McGraw, and then broke out into their planned choreographed routine! It was a mix of three different songs - about 2.5 minutes. There was a short pause (thinking they were done) but then The Carlton started playing and they did a brief version of that! After the Carlton played there was another song that started immediately and in the lyrics it basically welcomed everyone to join them on the dance floor! It was so fun to watch!
Stacia has greek roots in her family and so they did some special Greek Dances during the reception led by her uncle! Her uncle (who also used to be a DJ ironically) taught the guests how to greek dance, it was so entertaining to watch! They had me play two special Greek Songs for the Greek Dance portion of their wedding.
1. "Orea Pou Ine I Nifi Mas (How beautiful is our bride)". It's one of the classic line dances you always hear at Greek dances/conventions/weddings.
2. "Then katalaveno tipota (I don't understand anything)", which is faster tempo and really fun and easier to dance to, plus has sentimental factor. Your YiaYia will know it well, it's classic from 60's/70's performed by the most famous (modern) Greek band of our generation, Trio Bel Canto.
The venue was a huge part of the beauty of their wedding. They had the most amazing accommodations and the food they served their guests was amazing. Stacia and Josh did an excellent job with showing hospitality to their guests. Literally every single person at their wedding was over the top excited for them to be married.
